Acute oncology service

Aim:
Assist University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust to set up their new acute oncology service (AOS).

Objectives:

• Baseline current service including clinical pathways and admission routes.
• Assist the teams with the mapping and implementation of clinical pathways.
• Assist the teams to resolve any issues with the emergency alert system and to aid the writing of communication protocols.
• Suggest areas for improvements.
