Breast screening services Pan Birmingham

Aim:
To work with the breast screening services for South Birmingham and City, Sandwell and Walsall to review and develop streamlined processes.

Objectives:

• develop more effective systems and pathway
• tackle inequalities in breast screening
• prepare for the forthcoming age extension plans in the breast screening programme

Achieve a 14 day turnaround time for cervical screening results by December 2010

Aim:
Women will receive the results of their cervical screening test within 14 days of it being taken in Pan Birmingham.

Objectives:
This will be achieved by working with all partners in the screening pathway to reduce unnecessary delays.

Outcome July 2011:
