The Network Information and Audit Lead and Network Project Lead work with stakeholders to develop audit protocols and project specifications, advise on project methodology and analyse and review the incoming data.

Key projects include:

• Key performance indicators
  Network site specific groups have agreed key clinical outcome measures which are subject to ongoing audit with reports on an annual basis. New indicators are subject to consultation and pilot before use.

• High cost drug usage
  Financial and pharmaceutical data from trusts relating to high cost drug use is processed, analysed, reviewed and used to forecast future demand.

• Clinical audit
  Audit projects measure progress against agreed clincal audit standards across all of the organisations involved in delivering that aspect of cancer care.

• Network-wide patient surveys
  The content of patient surveys is developed and consulted upon. The survey process is project managed and includes processing and analysis of data including patient feedback.
